Pharmeuropa 38.4 opens 35 draft texts for comment
Drafts include micro-determination of water and aflatoxin B1 in herbal drugs; comments close on 30 December 2026.
EDQM published 35 proposed new or revised European Pharmacopoeia texts in Pharmeuropa 38.4. Among them are proposals concerning micro-determination of water and aflatoxin B1 in herbal drugs.
The texts are proposals, not current requirements. Laboratories and product holders should review the drafts and submit technical comments by 30 December 2026; final wording and effective dates depend on subsequent adoption.
