The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare published its September 2026 reference-standards newsletter. It lists ten new standards, thirteen replacement batches, future withdrawals and some changed storage or transport conditions.
Pharmaceutical laboratories should check their inventory against the official list, batch identifiers and assigned values before ordering or using a replacement batch. The applicable European Pharmacopoeia text remains the authority for each test.
