Agilent announces 9500 ICP-MS triple-quadrupole system
The elemental-analysis platform is designed to ease migration from single-quadrupole ICP-MS to ICP-MS/MS.
Agilent announced the 9500 ICP-MS, a next-generation triple-quadrupole elemental-analysis system. The company positions it as a way to simplify migration from single-quadrupole ICP-MS while improving interference removal and reducing measurement time.

Laboratories should compare matrix-specific detection limits, collision or reaction modes, throughput and method-transfer requirements with their existing instruments before adoption.
